09 335 pricing question
So, I have a 335i coupe already.. and about back in Dec 2007, got a deal for mine... financed two years for about 1K$ a month... 10K down... now we are looking for a 335 vert for my brother..
We sat down and optioned out a car, went into BMW..... 335 vert Alpine Coral Grey Polar Sports Package w/ 18" Premium Package Cold Weather Package Step Paddles Comfort Access Navigation Logic7 iPod Destination Charge Total MSRP: $59,125 Price gave to me by... SA: 60,000 out the door. I just built the car today on the website, but my brother built it out before and specced it. We walked into the dealer last Saturday and his numbers were all crazy, hes claimed his final was 64,000$ then he took off.. a few thousand... and came to 60,000$ out the door. w/ all fees (registration) Is, 60,000$ a good deal for all those options w/ tax? What deals did you guys get for 2009s? MIKE

Thanks guys, lucky I was there, my brother wanted the aero kit and I know Tischer prices on the aero kit, he quoted me 4K painted and installed!!!!!!!!1 I said are you nuts???? I've seen cheaper, then he gave me some ridiculousness lame excuse how it would hurt the resale if I put on an "aftermarket..." I was like RIGHT, aftermarket??????? Fucking high.

one way to check is.. build your car on bmwusa.com and see what MSRP u get.. then build it the same way via the MSRP pricing (page 8?) and see what total u get and compare. so in conclusion, when u ask ur dealer what's the invoice for ur vert.. he might quote u a couple hundred above what u see on the pricing sheet. |

I never pay over invoice. Ignore MSRP, which stands for Mega Scummy Ripoff Pricing.
If a dealer sells you a car at invoice, they'll still make thousands with their holdback and other incentives the factory gives them to accept delivery. The invoice price for a stone stock 335i 'Vert is $47,470: http://autos.msn.com/research/autopr...ear=2009&UTN=1 |
