I have a black 545..would switching the front kidney grills to black ones make the car look good or bad??

depends on what you want...size, weight, style, brand....same vendors above has a great wheel selection also...your time would be better spent researching on e60.net IMO

what kind of wheels are you looking for? OEM? aftermarket? 18? 19s? 20s? 21s?

go for it! It is a nice look. Especially if you have black shadowline trim on the doors. Black and white roundels provide the finishing touch.
