How to clean Titanium tips???

I have bought a set of 3.7 rolled tips from a seller here and before I put them on I was wondering if anyone had experience with cleaning them. I just got done using metal polish on my stock ones and don't think that will be good on titanium ones. I'm also hoping I won't need to clean them every other time I drive the car because you can't allow buildup or they won't come clean.

i use steel wool to clean my stock exhaust tips. it doesnt scratch and gets everything off even after it has built up for a while. perhaps the same will do for titanium.

I seriously would not use steel wool. My tips stay clean with just soap and water.

steel has iron in it and when combined with tianium can contaminate the titanium and cause it to flash rust. I would just use some metal cleaner and a brush. Do you have any pictures. typically you shouldn't get oxidation on your titanium if its real

No pics they're not even on. It's just the black carbon that sticks to the stock tips that scares me

It sticks to the roll of the stock tips. Gets baked on you know....I'm sure it'll happen to the Ti tips also. Right now I use metal polish, however I wonder if that will scratch the Ti tips.

it shouldn't - but i don't have experience with those tips.

the best thing to do i think is just take a microfiber and make sure you wipe it down every day or every other day.
