2009 MVP Track Time Schedule

Good Evening I Drivers:

MVP Track Time (www.MVPTrackTime.com) is very excited to announce our expanded track day schedule for the 2009 track season.

As many are feeling the effects of the economic downturn, MVP is attempting to keep pricing the same as 2008. With all the economic bad news, I hope this reaches you as some good news. We aim to bring the best track value to you. Below you will find our tentative 2009 schedule, subject to revision as necessary.

April 18-19: Putnam Park ”Tax Freedom Track Weekend” - SOLD OUT!

June 1: Autobahn Country Club (FULL 3.56 mile track) - SOLD OUT!

August 3: Autobahn Country Club II (FULL 3.56 mile track) - SOLD OUT!

September 5-6: Blackhawk Farms ”No Hurricane Rain Track Weekend” - PERFECT!

November 21 – 22: Road Atlanta “Flyin Turkey Trot”

The cold weather of late tells me we are in for a longer Winter. When Spring arrives, I hope you’ll gear up for some much needed fresh air and join MVP Track Time at the track.

FYI to anyone interested in these track events. Please be sure to note that motorcycle or Karting helmets are NOT approved for use at any of these events. I was all set to sign up for some of these events but noticed the helmet note in the details.

Our liability insurance carrier won't allow motorcycle or karting helmets at our events. The reasons are noted (flamability and multi impact test) on our web site ("Helmets - PLEASE READ") at:

There are a number of reasonably priced "SA" (full face and open face) rated helmets on the market. I run a full face Simpson Speedway Shark to protect my head.

Feff - no knocking your DE's whatsoever, just wanted everyone to be sure they realize the helmet rule since many "novices" like myself who have been bitten by the bug have motorcycle helmets. Best of luck and hope to find my way to one of your events in the future.

Feff, I sent you another email offering instructor assistance, if you need any, at your VIR event which immediately follows our 3-day event. Let me know and I will distribute the information to our instructor corps.

Obviously we have a large corps of instructors in the DC area.
