Invaders Must Die

Anyone else had a listen to The Prodigy's latest (and in my opinion greatest) album?

Ok, so it's not out for a few weeks yet, but it's available if you look (and yes I have it on pre-order with play.com).

Fat of the Land and "AONNOG" were a bit of a let down in my mind. Yeah you had tunes like Breathe, Smack my Bitch Up and Firestarter but they never really had the buzz of Experience and Jilted. This album is different!

Put simply if you grew up in the early 90's and were into hardcore you're gonna absolutely LOVE this!

Oh and I new NEED a stereo upgrade in my car. Track 6 "Warriors Dance" has since melted the standard subs!

Thats great news.

I have to admit to LIKING Fat of the Land, and NOT LIKING Experience. So for me Prodigy was all about the Jilted and Fat, but I didnt like Always Outnumbered - that was really cheap feeling.

How do you think I will respond to the new album lol? I am hopeful I must say!

I'd say it's more Jilted than anything else. Some of the samples hark back to Experience (there's even one from close encountrs in there if you listen) but in all I think it's gonna go down a storm!

Definately one of those albums that gets you stamping on the loud peddle

Always been a massive fan of the Prodigy.

Ironic thing is last time I saw them was back in the early 90's in the CIA in cardiff, and they are back there again shortly.

Question is do I still have the stamina?

Its always been about the pure aggression and attitude of the music. Best listen to when you are A) driving B) weight training C) going to kill someone.
