R.I.P Little Michael

Yesterday, I was unfortunate enough to be in the vicinty of a nasty incident.

I was working in Clacton-on-sea and approx 2pm a load of activity happend.

Started off with a Dodgy looking male running through the station car park and jumping a private fence.

He ran off and I thought at first he was just a dodgy looking character.

Few minutes later an Air ambulance flew over followed by a police helicopter.

Police arrived and we told of the guy doing a runner.

A male had run over 9 year old Michael on his own road where he lived and he died later on that day on the way to hospital.

The w*nker who killed him did a runner and i saw the bastard

Very sad to hear the little boy died.

It was a 30mph zone and the guy wiped out two parked cars also

Coincedently it was also the two year anniversary that I saw a 20 year old boy die by the side of the road. Some images that will never leave me.

R.I.P Dave.

Wow. thats sickening.

Sorry you had to be 'part' of those two events.

My thoughts go out to their families and friends and I hope they caught the w*nker that did it and make sure he gets what he deserves.

It's never good when we are party to something as shocking and upsetting as this Carl. I try to remember a fatal accident that I witnessed every time I may be tempted to 'hurry along' in a built up area. I've know too many kids knocked over and seriously injured or killed in the job I'm in.

Sorry to hear of this tragedy, Carl. It brings back memories of a fatal accident I attended to in the mid 1980s.

Nasty stuff Carl. I hope you are OK.

Have you been in touch with the Police? Whilst you probably didn't see much in terms of evidence, they may be interested in taking a statement, which could in turn help see justice done.

Cheers Carl. It's an unfortunate fact of life. Yesterday we received a phone call to say that one of our pupils and her mother (an ex-employee of the school), had been involved in a serious accident on the way to school. The traffic police rang us due to the information in the child's bag and asked us for contact details for the father. Sadly the mother died from her injuries and the child is stable but poorly. We had to tell staff and pupils today. Never a nice thing.
