Cheap quick mods to improve drag times

My car is bone stock apart from an ECU tune.

How can i make it go quicker? Will lowering the car improve the times due to less movement during acceleration or just cause more wheel spin as the car is now stiffer?

Non runflats on my car. Continental sport contact 3's.

Always left the tyre pressures as the track did give me wheelspin but not enough to hinder times i feel.

remove the front sway at the strip. dropping the rear tire pressure a bit will help also.

Other than an LSD or some drag radials, some cheap mods that would improve your times are pertaining to weight. Try to make the car as light as possible. Remove all your floor matts, light weight rims, lightweight brakes, a lightweight braille battery, some lighter seats, going to the track on a half-tank of gas, removing the rear seat, etc. On caymanclub.net, they go to the extremes that they remove headlights, taillights, and exhaust for track sessions. Removing weight is the only free to inexpensive mod that you can do to your car.

remove the front anti roll bar to improve weight transfer to the rear.

Run a pizza cutter front wheel/tire to reduce drag and rotational mass.

If you have an MT, get a shortshifter. minimize the time between shifts, and more time accelerating. You'll see a difference in your 1/4.
