Make the Sponsors work?

hmmm,

I doubt this is allowed, but its a theory rather than an actual idea...

I have been trying to get a lot of work done lately, about £3 - £4k on the car.

I am most certainly not going to name anyone, but it seems rather hard to spend that money because frankly - noone seems to want it.

When I posted about a remap, I had a few PM's from sponsors who offered me their product proactively...

I want a remap, but I want it as part of a larger piece of work to the sum of what I have said above - but when I contact the places I know to be capable of this work, well they have not exactly been keen to call me, email me, or reply to messages back...

I just wonder why that is?

I am beginning to think if I put a list of what I want on here - will parties who actually want my business email me with quotes do we think??

Similar to how government contracts are bid for but on a smaller scale!!

Ah well, like I said its just a silly thought.. mainly borne of frustration because I want to spend and I cant lol!!!

Mate, alot of companies are inundated with lots of work. Be more pro-active yourself go to a companies premises check them out then decide.

Going off forums to talk to companies is very different to visiting them... Number one shows your serious number two you get to see how they work etc.

Its not like your going for ''Just a map'' so you really need to be quite pro-active about it yourself in my opinion. (Considering the amount of money involed)

Good luck and hope it all goes well. I look forward to seeing the finished atricle.

haha Carl, you know that curiosity killed the cat!!!

Dont worry - no matter how quick my car is, my response time at the pod is always pap and I cant control wheelspin so you will still have the quickest 335D!!

Mate, does not matter what your reaction time is. Can still set a quicker time as it is not counted.

I think it will be great if you car is pumping major power and is quicker. Bring on the diesel power I say.

Im happy enough with just a re-map.

I asked what because you mentioned something like a teaser but then say nothing more.

Go on just tell us lOL

Matt, you getting everything done at the one place?
Or is it split between two?

£3-4k sounds like:

LSD (we know)

Suspension mods, springs Etc + roll bars front/rear?
Stage 2 remap including custom straight through exhaust?
BBK front and rear?

Am I warmish?
