v 3.2 maps valet mode

so when the car is in valet mode it is running at stock like levels of performance. is the PROcede being completely bypassed in this mode or just scaling back performance. what i'm trying to get at here is, if i run valet mode will i still be seeing the increased mpg of these awesome 3.2 maps with the advanced timing off boost?

No, its completely bypassed while in valet...

I think you could drop your user tq values WAAY down on one of your 2 maps and make your own "valet" that still has the off boost timing advance.

In valet mode, the car is essentially stock. So no increased fuel economy. However, we can change that if you guys want.

cool thanks guys. Shiv i wouldn't even bother you to make another map because like Rick said i can just drop user tq way down on one of the 2 maps.

Just keep User Torque above 10%. The software will automatically limit the min adjustment range once it becomes nonbeta. But for now, just keep that in mind.

Since the car is essentially stock in valet mode...would it still be necessary to remove the Procede for a service visit? My dealership does not seem to care much about mods, and if I am simply taken in the car for a scheduled oil change, how would they ever know.

What are your thoughts?

Whoops, sorry for the threadjack.

IMO you are better leaving the valet mode as it is. Why? If someone has to go to emmissions testing, if they come upon the mobile smog sniffers though I doubt they'd even suspect or "waste" time testing such a new looking car. If, just in case... And it would be nice for maps to do nothing until the car is warm enough too.

If you are certain your dealership doesn't care, then you can just leave it in. But it's always a risk.
