That's cool...

But I am really looking forward to the BMW Club Day on Nov 11 (Registration begins Sept 1)

"Club Day at Spartanburg
Come join us for our next NCC Club Day event at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg, SC.

This highly acclaimed event is designed specifically for our Chapter and directed by the enthusiastic and highly skilled instructors at the Performance Center. It is truly a one-of-a-kind event!

The day is divided into morning skill and afternoon competition sessions. Morning exercises include instruction on the wet skid pad, braking & handling, accident avoidance and autocross courses. Afternoon competitions include the wet oval rat race (DSC OFF!), the wet and dry skid pad rat race and timed autocross. After lunch classroom instruction helps us get back to basics. Best autocross time of the day takes home the coveted Club Day Performance Center Trophy. After a full day of driving, participants are treated to an M3 taxi ride - BMW style! Did we mention the Performance Center supplies the cars, gas, tires and lunch for the day?

We should all aim to go...

Also, how bout joining the BMW Club karting league?

I would love to do it but Spartanburg s so far awat. It sounds like PCD when I took delivery; just a little more track time. It's very fun.

also BMWCCA membership is required to sign up for this gang! get your mbrship now during BMWCCA membership drive month!

"track" if you guys are interested in this pls keep an eye on the pre-enrollment, I last check on this is that when the enrollment opens its going to be quick and one must have a pre-enrollment fill out and process.

The NCC Club Day event at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg, SC is the best bang for the buck! most BMWCCA local mbrs reindevous at Manassas early morning and convoy to SC for this event. Ive got my sights set on that one. One thing about that is you dont trash your car but the performance centers cars. You will be assigned a car to share and the last Ive learn was it was M cars to your hearts delight.

I highly suggest to get your BMWCCA mbrship now! so you get your welcome package from NCC soon and ready to execute your plans!
grrrrr! ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM!

btw! insurance doesnt give discount for track meets, in fact, its not advisable for anyone to even tell them anything about tracking your car, for they dont cover this under most terms.

Now, the driving schools is a different story, its a different set of animal, the driving school teaches you proper manuever, apex, J-Turns, and acceleration/turns techniques, while tracking(auto-x) is done when your already have the training and skills from your driving courses.

Im with you guys! Just Do It!

ok guys, its time to bring this thread back to life, coz after Rev It Up we have nothing.

I went to National Capital Chapter and filled in my re-enrollement from and saved it online, for when registration opens you need to have it.

What will it be? Think about it guys!

ok! we missed this class for this month. But talking to Stephen from BMWCCA NCC we've got another chance to be in the Nov. class.

AJ, or anyone wake up! I said we've got another chance! at Jefferson
http://www.nccbmwcca.org/index.php?id=138,92,0,0,1,0

The seats are limited, and priority goes like BMWCCA-NCC mbrs, BMWCCA, non-mbrs, then USPS date stamp. Interested ? heres what you do or what Im doing:

Sept 4 will start pre-registration on NCC site, fill out your registration and submit it online, you will get a confirmation email after explaining what to do.
Get it all ready and wait for Sept 18.

Once, Sept 18 hit, go to the Post office and mail it ASAP. The reason you like to do that is you like to get the earliest Post Date on your mail, for that was they also use for priority.

Its a one day or two days with intructors with you, have no fear! cost $350. hotel $60 or drive back home and drive back.

Im 90% going, with or without anyone, for I like get this done to be ready for the chapters BMW days at the performance centers next spring (thats driving all M cars for $500. (btw BMW M days will be on the same date in Nov, if you rather just go there and bypass this)

I'm registering for both the November HPDE at SMR Jefferson Circuit and the CarGuys HPDE @ VIR Full Course in October. Total: $750 + gas + hotel + food

I went to AllSportsGP Karting yesterday $40 for 16 minutes, it's really fun, but I'm not sure it's worth $40.
