E39 M5 vs E90 335i
Youtube Description:
335i is stock - strong example with 270+ whp easily. M5 has headers, exhaust, intake & delimiting remap - dyno's 300 whp at 5500 ft altitude (17% power loss compared to the coast where it makes about 365 whp) 2nd gear rolling run from 55 km/h (35 mph) - 335i gets the jump and double-clutches, M5 just floors it and has to play catch-up... Run up to about 265 km/h (165 mph) where 335i's speed limiter intervened and tapped off. Do you mean it has a DCT? How can you double clutch when you are racing and up shifting? Double clutching s when you are downshifting and rev matching to align the gears, not when you are shifting up and shifting as fast as you could...
