It's only snow for f8cks sake. You'd think we'd never seen it before.

Whole country has gone mental.

Light snow tomorrow evening. I have one three month old BMW 335i, one thirteen year old Toyota 4Ruster. I wonder which one I should use tomorrow.

Heavy snow called for on Saturday. Doesn't a gallon of heavy snow weigh the same as a gallon of light snow?

Over night we had about an inch of snow.

Bloody stupid local council have shut every single school because of 'heavy snow'

These people need to be hit over the head with a stick until their brains start working or they die.

As far as I am concerned, heavy snowfall is what you get in the Alps or up on the hills. I'm talking at least a foot deep, snow ploughs, sheep farmers digging out their flock - that sort of things.

An inch of snow is just - snow. And now they are calling it a 'freak weather event'. It's not a freak event. It's Winter. It's suppose to happen every year - look on the christmas cards for fecks sake.

I really have no idea at all why it's not possible for my kids to go to school. I don't think that they would even need to wear wellies.

In the old days pensioners would have dug their way through 8 foot of snowdrifts to cash their pension and if they'd been asked about the weather they would have said 'musn't grumble'. The British are known for their stoic bulldog spirit. In the victorian days if your leg fell off at a party, you'd try not to mention it to anyone lest it spoil the mood - stiff upper lip and all that.

Now though, if there is the slightest risk of anything bad happening to anyone ever, then everything gets cancelled and we are all advised to stay at home and hide under the bed.

Complete and utter twunts the lot of them.

Fair enough for an inch, here down my street there is about 6 inch on both pavements and roads, that is dangerous the roads are absolute choas and schools are shut, buses have stopped running and the airport which is a good few miles from me has stopped planes from taking off! So it must be fairly bad all over the county.

Nobody has moved their cars and there are some old people who won't be able to walk to the shops, half our local shops will probably be shut too. It is still snowing too!

The dogs are loving it though!

Well we had about 6 inches and the drive in to work was AWESOME

Sorry, but I just love hooning about in the snow. I wasn't much up for it yesterday and although I got moaned at by my Mrs for coming in, the drive was great!

550Nm RWHP FTW!!!!

My local airport is also shut, but for 1 inch of snow.

Snow has been around for many years and the UK has a varied climate ranging from very hot Summers (sometimes!) and potentially very cold and snowy Winters.

You would have thought we could cope with snow by now and that roads, planes and trains would be designed to cope with the UK's varied climate

Useless!
