Car Wont Start!!

so idiot me left the lights on for like an hour and now my car lost all of its battery it started up once but i turned it off to try and start it again and it didnt work what should i do? can i just start it up again and let if charge itself?

you need to jump start it. don't do what jerrybajwa said though. proper jump start procedure says to use the terminals under the hood that bmw put there for a reason.

ok thanks for the help everyone! should i just try and see if i can start it up normally w/o a jump start since it worked once?

yep jump start it using the terminals under the hood .Then see how your battery is as per batteryuniversity.com. The BMW service bulletins are referring to this site as well
