Smile BBS CH's for my M3

Hi All,

Thought you might like to see my latest mod on my M3. These are going to be my summer wheels, and I'll continue to use the 18's as a winter set. I've tried to capture the rear offset in some of the pics. They're 8.5" fronts and 10" rears, running the 245/275 combination. I'm trying Kumho KU-31 XL's as I've heard some good things about them and they're pretty reasonably priced. I've only done about 50 miles on them, but they seem pretty well sorted to me. Time will tell!

On with the pics..............

Cheers
Matt

Lovely mate, those CH's really suit the E46 M3.

Needs lowering badly Matt to show them off to their true potential - but nice rims all the same buddy. CSL rims have always been my top preference on the M3 but the CH's are a close second.

Badly or well - it needs lowering!!! On a serious note i lowered one of my E46 M3's on just springs - Eibachs i think - but it totally messed the handling up - looked great - but i wouldnt do it again. If it were me i would only ever go down the coilover route. Let me find a pic of one of my old M3's i lowered for you - give me five.......

Nice wheels. I like them. But I think you missed a photo angle or two. Where's the one from the ground up? What about the inside?

No worries. I think it would benefit from a drop, but will save up and do it properly. I could always take an angle grinder to the springs!

I bought them off a friend, but maybe you could try Simpson motorsport. The fronts are £240 each and the rears £260 ech, plus VAT. I have used salesafter.de in the past, but think that with the pound/euro rate it might not be worth it.

Cheers
