It is killing me to let this car go, but times are what they are. My Porsche 911 is also for sale. This 2008 135i Titanium Silver Convertible is fully loaded, as shown in signature. Original Window Sticker reads $52,245. It's a California car, garaged, and in perfect condition with 4K miles. No mods, no abuse, no track use, and has the updated HPFP. Full factory warranty in effect.

Note: A California buyer can retain the California License Plate that is on this car. (The front plate has never been mounted, and there are no holes in the bumper) The rear-mounted plate reads:
YR 1 OF 1

Do the research and check the value... I promise that I will consider all fair and reasonable offers.

Perhaps, but for this forum, I'm going to focus on the 135i. The car is perfect in every way, and someone is going to get a fabulous car at a fabulous price.

Thanks for the well-wishes! And thanks for the extra bump your well-wishes put on the thread as well.

No doubt, if I originally had the opportunity to buy a briefly pre-owned 1er in perfect condition like mine, for many, many thousands less than the new one... I'd have given it serious consideration and checked it out.

"This 2008 135i Titanium Silver Convertible is fully loaded, as shown in signature." Your avatar is a 911. I don't see anything in your sig regarding a 1 series.

If you want to sell the car list the options in detail, show/or have access to a lot of good pictures, and post an asking price.

I am actually interested in a used 1 series convertible, either SGM or TiAg, but I gotta have the above info.

Gentlemen... I have gone ahead and listed the car on the internet in a classified auto website. I was a little surprised that no one here jumped all over this opportunity. But then I started to realize that most of you prefer stripped down coupes, not loaded convertibles... so its makes more sense to me now.

Anyway, the car is still available.

Regards,

TM

I don't think the lack of interest is due to folks looking for bare bone coupe 'strippers'. At the end of the day you are trying to recoup most of what was a $55K purchase, and in this economy cash buyers are tough to come buy, at any level, let alone above $30K. Even lending institutions are shutting off even good credits, and most people prefer to get a 2% interest from BMW and pay a few K more to get into a brand new car, than pay 8% bank loan on a used car(if they even get approved for such!). In fact their payments may be less on a higher sticker price financed at 2% rather than 8% on a lower principal balance and on a used car on top of it all.

Annyhow, G/L with the sale. If you think you might take a beating, be glad you don't own an 08 M5 for which you paid 100K+ a mere few months ago which is now trading in the low 50s...

Wow! That's worse than my '07 Porsche 911, which I just sold for $60K. It was originally $108. I'm still feeling the pain, but I'm glad it's over with.

As far as my 135i convertible goes... I'm realistic. Someone's going to get a great deal. It's just a matter of time.

Sorry guys... but this great offer is retracted.

I've come to my senses and I'm just not going to sell this car. I love it waaaaaaay too much to let it go.

Do you have any offer you posted on the internet? How much you asking, I don't see it in the first post.

The offer was two-fold. I first offered to accept any reasonable price from a forum member. Then I listed it on the internet for $39K... which was considerably less than every other similar 135i convertible on the internet.

It's irrelevant at this point. I am keeping the car no matter what.
