Rolex 24 Roll Call

On track activites start on Thursday and the big show starts at 3:00 PM on Saturday.

I'll be there all four days because I live ten minutes away. Anyone else planning on attending?

Me and my girlfriend just decided we'll be going out there, not sure what day(s) yet though.

Tough call if you are only going one day. Saturday you can walk down pit lane(Superpass $90) before the race to see the new hardware and drivers. The problem is that we only get about 2.5 hrs of daylight racing on Sat. because of the 3:30 start time this year.

Depending on hotel prices we might stay a night out there so we can go two days. Which would be the best two do you think?

cfbmw will be there as always! we are usually camped out by turn 1 where the road forks

theres a thread on the forum about it as well

Friday will be good because of the Koni race and lots of Grand Am practice and Q. Saturday will suck untill about 2:30 when the grid forms. Tough call but I would arrive mid-morning Sat. and stay that night.

Surina- You guys will be at NASCAR turn one? I only ask that because Grand Am turn one wont have camping.

I'll be there Saturday. Most likely in the infield. My friends sponsor one of the TRG 911's(ConstructCorps Car). Justin Marks is one of the drivers. He used to race the ALMS M3's before the pulled out 2 years ago.

i've got an autocross event in deland(where i live) sunday morning but i'll hang out for a while saturday night.

im not sure what its called nascar or grandam

but here is where we typically are and they are trying to get to the same spot as we have been here for the past 3 years

i'm still not sure if i am personally going ... just thought i'd let you guys know where a crew of fellow bimmers may be

there should be a good sized group from cfbmw showing up! it may be hard to determine if it is them or not ... you can try looking for some members wearing cfbmw hoodies (m color stripes on front w/e30/e36/e46 m outlined and bmw definition on back)

good luck finding them!

oh and...if you have never been..at least for those who camp out...theres plenty to do before the race and during... like drinking/eating/drinking/eating/ride the ferris wheel/ check out merch/drinking etc..
