It's hard for me to think this is good but I suppose it is. I sold my evo that used to go 7.1 in the 1/8 and bought the 135i. I miss the power a little but enjoy my 135i much more for daily driving.

1/4 mile times

I wish I could get timeslike you did, I ran 18.9 on 5 different runs. I then figured I could go quicker if I took my e-brake off. On a serious note, I got my nu?z kicked in by a black 2006 mustang gt--why are those cars so much faster????

They aren't faster, if they're stock, but who drives a stock Mustang GT? ; -)

SO you used DS.. not manual DS mode?
Cause everything i found states it will always start in 2nd gear UNLESS you push fwd to manual mode and use 1st gear.
If you used 1st gear then i wonder how much quicker it would of been?

I'm pretty sure he was starting in first gear in order to run a 13.3 second timeslip. Starting in 2nd he would have most definitely been closer to 14 or even 14.5 seconds. Nate

If you want a 4th gen mustang for modifiying don't wast your time with a GT. By the time you get it running 12s you could have bought an 03+ cobra and a $400 pulley and be running high 12s all day long on a mostly stock car. I had a friend who was making almost 600hp (stock was 385) on an 05 cobra with just Int/Ex and a pulley. And it was all day power on pump gas. Never ran it at the strip but I'm positive it was running low 12s and maybe 11.9s with race prep and some practice runs.

Stock forced induction is a godsend for tuning on a budget or on a car you still have to drive to work every day.
For blowers you just throw on a pulley and you're getting another 80hp (assuming you started with 380).
For snails its a boost controller.

I recently raced a stock GT Anniversary edition shifting at 6000 rpms and it was absolutely no contest. Until we got the the turns. Then I could shift at 4500 and still leave the turn before he started it.

I cant wait till my warranty is up or I can find a dealer local that will let me mod cuz this car gets silly quick with just a couple large under the hood (and after youve gotten rid of the worthless stock rubber).

I was out there with my Z06. Which 135 were you in? Was it the grey coupe? If so we know each other from the old days when you had your Camaro....
I walked over to talk to you a couple times and you were talking with someone... then you were gone before I knew it. Nice runs!!!

Those are great times for a 'stock' car with no mods! Everything is just stock...even the run-flats?

Is there a solution to that problem? I always thought that was a transmission glitch. My 135i has been in the shop 3 or 4 times b/c of it.

It was good to see you at the track. Sorry we didnt get a chance to chat more. Nice run! The track was best early believe it or not. seemed to go away some around 8:30-9pm on. I only made 4 passes in the Z, but the earlier ones were better. The MPH seemed to come down for everyone later.... same 60ft but less mph..... See you around town!

Once the sun went down humidity went up. We almost had the track to ourselves early on though.
I won't be in any hurry to pick up another 13 second time slip!
Regarding the service issue we talked about, we could open up a 'Vette shop...I'll sign up to test drive the cars after the mods have been performed. See you around town!
I wonder if a good Vette shop would make $$$.... But a good speed shop that can do all makes and models.... Now that would work!

Wow! The stock 135i auto is an intake away from a 12.99 run in perfect conditions. I can only imagine what it'll do with a JB3!
