DIY Down Pipes 1st day
I have been working on getting the stock Down Pipes out of my car for the last 4 hours. I am now ready to install the Riss Down Pipes I will be tackling that first thing in the morning. I am doing this in the driveway with hand tools and ramps, so it can be done with out a lift. I am hoping to have them in and drivng in two hours so I think this is a 6 hour driveway job for one person. I will let you know tomorrow.

Hey Johnny, I feel your pain, I am installing catted pipes and it's a PITA, got the stock pipes out, I am having a bitch of time installing the circular clamp on the short pipe, I suspect it is imperative to replace the clamp in the exact same postion you found it. The clearence on the back side is very tight, and I suspect the only way it will fit is if the thin band conncecting both halves of the ring is in the right place, I walked away due to time constraints, and the fact I have to move a car and 3 bikes to access the lift the car is on and it has been raining. Wish you the best of luck, will provide updates as I progess (feeling confident) on Sunday or when I get to it..

I am now at the same exact step as you, having breakfast and going back out to the driveway to tackle the pipes. I will keep you all informed.
