they always claim that, but oil tests show they are still required, especially on the 135i

google is your friend, we have talked about it on this forum a few times, 335i owners have obviously more test data than 135i owners

I really dont think you read the analysis at all
flashpoint = fuel contamination a byproduct of direct injection I think yearly changes are fine for non boosted engines, but not for boost + direct injection
