Pictures from the dragstrip
Well, I hadn't realized I never posted up the photos from my trip to Houston Raceway Park in July, so here they are. Enjoy! Oh and the SRT-4 is my brothers. It puts down 440whp and has ran a best of 11.3@122mph on the old set-up. Now has fully built motor with bigger turbo...should run 10s.

Ditto on not messing with that Neon. I'm loving the rear tires on the 1. Do they help you hook up better?

My best time was a 12.85@106.65. DA was 2220ft. The GT ran a best of maybe 13.9. The red SRT-4 ran a 13.3 or so. He was Stage 3.
I wouldn't want to run again without them. If you go to the track even a few different occasions, this should be your first mod. Then you can tell what effect all other mods have. My best 60ft with them is a 1.81. I know I could pull a 1.7, with more practice. They are the Nitto 555rs 245/45/17s. |

Man, I hate SRT-4s. They used to pester me in my Evo like mosquitos. All they wanted to do was go from a 60mph roll on the interstate. Junk piles.

Well, I bought them on a whim while I was down in Texas on vacation. I payed $850 or so through a Discount Tire store.. If I would have been patient, I could have paid around $700-$750. |
