Clutch is gone?
Hey guys, im having some trouble with my clutch...it was amazing, tight, smooth and last night, literally "all-of-a-sudden", it just went. I got into the car, turned it on as usual, and when i went to reverse, the clutch seemed like it wasnt there. theres hardly any pressure behind the pedal and it engages very late when pulling my foot up. i do know the difference between a worn clutch and a new one, as i had to replace 2 in my eclipse. i have NEVER "launched" the car or dumped the clutch. any help is appriciated. i have already requested a service appt... thanks
p.s. the car is a 4/08 build and has 7800 miles on it. only mods are RR catch can and BMS dual cone sorry wrong forum...please move to maintenance/servicing/warranty. thanks |

So strange.
Pull those intakes before you take it in. There is no chance they contributed to whatever is going on, but you don't want the dealer talking crap to you about it. Good luck! |

I had the same problem and it turned out to be a faulty slave cylinder. The dealer replaced it under warranty and everything is great now.
