Supaguard

Anyone used this stuff before? I brought the kit and did the exterior yesterday but on Friday I took the mats out the car and sprayed them with the carpet protector. Left them overnight in the garage to dry and then put them back in the car.

They are still however giving off a chemical smell, does this last long?

I just thought I would only do the mats rather than the whole interior, I don't like shiny leather.

Mine's being done at the end of next week. Finally getting the car on Wednesday!

I'm taking mine to the same place as esscolab in Essex. I'll be asking them beforehand whether the interior treatment will give me shiny leather, as if that's the case I don't want them doing it. I'll be conditioning and cleaning it as necessary anyway

Thats exactly it for me. I thought I wouldn't risk it. The paint seal is easy to apply and carpet protection is easy to do as well. I just hope the chemical smell goes away, will drive home with the windows and sunroof open I think, any ideas?

It's not that great on leather and there is much better stuff available.

I use Gliptone leather in a bottle which is amazing. Bentley use it on their classic cars.

I apply it every 3 months to keep the leather moist and soft - stops them cracking and going shiney.
