So are all prices MSRP with those incentives or is there a deal on these? I would like to know the price on the RG-R wheels.

This is very appealing:
RG-R - Finish: Diamond Silver/Diamond Black
Specifications: 18 - 8.5 +38 Front / 18 - 9.0 +45 Rear

Is there a confirmed tire size for these that are KNOWN to fit on an unmodified 135i? I am seriously looking for a tire/wheel combo to get more rubber on the road and save weight.

225 or 235/35 in front, and 255 or 265/35 in back would be perfect with these wheels if known to work well. Basically first good options I can find I'll be buying (with tires and TPMS).

+1

If you can show me that the fronts won't rub under hard cornering w/o rolling fenders using a somewhat square wheel/tire setup, then I'm highly interested.

Agreed, I won’t spend a cent until I see pics with clearances, it's just too risky otherwise.

just spoke to BBS USA today. the fitment of the RGR and the RS-GT Requires modifications to the front fender (8.5 +38 spec).

They don't know of any plans by BBS Germany to produce the non-tuner fitment.

the wheels that will fit without the modifications is the
RX - 18 - 8.0 +38

CK - 18 - 8.0 +45

The price is based off the retail + those incentives.

The RX comes with in the 18 - 8.0 +38 fitment that will not rub, according to BBS-USA. We have yet to try this on a 135i.

If you are local to chicago or closeby wisconsin or Indiana, let me know. We may try and work out a great deal for you in exhcange for pictures by Johan, our photographer.

It seems the 3-piece forged styles should be able to be setup to work well on the 135. Just need to get the right measurements. If someone successfully gets an LM or other adjustable wheel tweaked out for max rubber without fender rolling that info could get passed along.

For instance, I imagine you could get an 18x8.5" /235/35 wheel tire in the front and an 18x9.5 (or 9.0) with 265/35 on the back. Just need the right offset.

It would be highly valuable for someone here to confirm a set like this, then a company like WheelSTO could state clearly that this combo is known to work well, fit perfectly, and offer a deal on it. I'd love to find out about something like this with a TPMS and tire combo so could easily just make an order

The one-piece wheels are desirable but it seems like the marketplace is offering very little other than 8" or maybe 8.5" wheels with suspect offsets and limited ability to put much rubber down.

The RX with an 18x8.5 for the rear would be great. Would be nice to get an 18x8/235 in front and 18x8.5/265 in rear. Confirmation on that would be helpful.

We have been searching high and low for some quality 1-pc wheels with great prices that will fit the 1er. We have been inquiring with BBS for some solution for the 1er. So far, not much has changed.

the original offer is still good for those that are willing to make some minor adjustments such as rolling to fit the RG-R and RS-GT wheels. (BBS will raise their prices on the 14th).

For all our wheels, we can also wrap them in any rubber of your choice, together with original BMW TPMS.

Julius, no offense, please take this constructively... Unless you guys want to take the lead and do some fitment homework and make us an offering, I don't see you selling a single set. I'm certainly not going to tie up 3K in wheels that may or may not fit. When it comes to wheels and intercontinental ballistic missiles, its precision and doing it right the first time that counts.

no offense taken... don't even worry it.

We have been doing our homework and in the works to come up with some great 1pc wheels for the 1series, as we did with the 335i, M3, M5 and the rest of the BMW fitment. With the somewhat "unusual" fitment of the 1er, we have had a hard time, finding wheels from our suppliers. We have been trying the HRE Monoblock route, Yokohama Advan RS, Volk and many more.

As for these BBS Wheels...
I noted in a couple of threads above that this is the "Tuner fitment" that will require rolling in the front. I just bumped this to offer the great price and deal for those that do want to go with this "aggressive" fitment before BBS raises their prices on the 14th.

This fitment is certainly not for everyone, but I know that there are a couple of members on 1Addicts that did go this route.

I will make sure to come up with great deals on 1pc wheels that will fit without the "modding".

Thanks for the support...
