Outside shops can't align e90?
I just had my stock zsp springs replaced with Eibachs and I'm having trouble finding an outside shop who can do my alignments.
First shop I tried gave me a lame excuse that the car is not leveled (even though he admitted that the springs might still be settling) and that I should just bring it to the dealer to get their opinion. Don't know why he still can't do the alignments though (I should've asked). The second shop told me that their alignment machine/computer is getting thrown off or affected by the car's navigation so they can't perform the alignment. Never heard that one before He said I need to bring it to the dealer because they'll have a special machine/computer to avoid this problem Both shops do performance suspension services, including German/European cars - they even give BMWCCA member discount. Does anyone had a similar problem? Is our car still too new for outsides shops to do alignments properly? I have two more peformance/German Car shops to try, then if they can't do it I'll just have to eat the extra money that the dealer charges for alignments  |

Guess it depends on the shops ability to stay current with technology!

hmmm....I had not heard of this problem as of yet. Many here have replaced springs, etc.
I am supposed to get my car's alignment checked out soon after putting on HnR springs. I will give you update once I take it in. Or...maybe Ryan at DTM can chime in here....
