My 335i is now in the BMW system!!
Finally made up my mind and got my order in to the system today. Although I'm sure I'll have a month or so before it is built so I may still make changes. My order is for :
335i coupe 6spd Black Sapphire Metalic Jade Grey Dakota Leather Grey Grain Poplar Trim Sports Pkg CA And thats all, nice and simple. BMW Nav is useless except in Europe and I just don't care about the sound system enough to get Premium Pkg. And after reading the disclaimer that maximinimus posted about 230 wheels then I'll stick to the sports pkg 18s. The wait begins. |

Congratulations.
Did you order anthracite headline also, or is this not available in Canada? Is the Lighting Package included? What about Comfort Access?

Has anyone in the UK been able to place a firm order?
My dealer said he would put my name down about 12 months ago but I have heard nothing since he sent me the launch brochure last month. I haven't even seen a pricelist for options.
Anyone got any more info? |

No not totally useless, I just really didn't like it that much in my friends X3. Acura and Lexus systems are way better IMO. Also in Canada I'll never be driving to a bunch of new cities since every major city is like 1000s of kms apart. It is fun to play with but for me not worth $2900. I know lots of other people love it though. |

My car is scheduled for early August production, which means an ETA in late September. The latest shots of a real Montego blue car (thanks to rot) and the recent video footage of a 335i @ a test track are going to make the four month wait that much harder. But, I have no doubt that this new machine will be awesome to drive.

arbitrage - Congrats! Very nice package. So what is the issue with the 230's? I did a few searches and could not find any concerns.
Thanks! |
