street/track pads for 135i -- Pagid?

Does anyone know if these are available yet?
I don't use full race pads, but I had the pagid blue on my e46 and I was pretty happy with them. I'd love to get a set of these for track use instead of the stock pads, which I found faded pretty quickly. This was at the nurburgring, so hopefully they will do better at watkins glen but I don't consider watkins glen to be easy on brakes by any means. I'd love to not have to come in to let the brakes cool down every 5 laps!

FYI... You can reduce probably 75% of brake fade by changing the fluid to a high temp fluid.

I would recommend ATE Type 200 Racing (yellow) brake fluid... Every time I brought bimmers in for service with blue fluid, they note that you have racing fluid in there. I have a hunch they would deny pad replacements, if you were noted to have blue racing fluid.

Track driving (schools) are not considered racing, so they would have absolutely no basis to deny your OEM pad replacement. You can go all the way up the chain if they do, and you would get your way.

My dealer's only remark was - I see you have ATE fluid in there... how do you like it?

After my experience last Friday with a blown out runflat tire in CT and cone marks from an autocross 5 days earlier, and them saying the cone marks caused the blow-out.... I beg to differ.. $578 later, and a stay at a North Haven,CT Holiday Inn with no additional clothes or toiletries....

HT-10's are available. Call your prefered BMW parts vendor, they should be able to source them for you.

These are not a street/track pad though. It's a track only pad.

Can you drive with these to/from the track?

The official answer is no, you "shouldn't" use these on the street.

But..... we've done it twice. Buttonwillow (~310 miles round trip) & Autoclub speedway (~110 miles round trip).

Nice easy slowwwwww stops with lots of engine braking.

I loved my HP Plus pads. Decent on the track, but really good at autox, and not too squeaky on the street. I hope they do have them shortly.
