Windshield
Dunno if this is right forum sorry but today while driving on the interstate a rock/pepple must have kicked up and hit my winshield, it knicked it and a crack about 6 inches long formed. Does BMW warranty cover this, (i know that florida insurance covers 1 winshield a year)???

I don't know how that would be. The installer said that the cost of the windshield is $300.

When the installer states, "The windshield isn't that expensive, it is only $300." He isn't referring to a deductible. Plus, I don't have one.
If it makes you feel better to pay more for the windshield, go right ahead. Bottom line: My OEM winshield was $300. |

Also - is it tinted? And do your rain sensors work? (Although in AZ - who would care?) |

We aren't permitted to tint the windshield in AZ, so no, it isn't tinted. Everything works. Also, someone said they had to leave their car at the dealership overnight to let it cure. It took 3 hours. |
