1addicts NJ member in Bay Area - what a sight of classic BMWs
So I been in the Bay Area (SF/Oakland/Richmond/Berkeley) for the last few days on business and I am just in shock/awe of all the old classic E30s/E28s/E34s, 2002tii's running around!
Although there are such a nice array of nice classic bimmers, I have yet to see a 1er on the road. My boss, an E34 owner and I went to the local BMW dealer to the office, Weatherford BMW to order some parts for his car and I got to show him a live example of a similar 135i to what I ordered in inventory. Compared to the NJ dealers, Weatherford has quite a few in stock, although I am not sure if they are demos. I counted around 3-4 converts and 2-3 coupes. Anyway, just wanted to shout a nice hello to my Bay Area brethren. I'll be here for a couple more days driving around in my boss's company car, an Acura MDX.

Weatherford sucks, dont shop there.
The reason we have so many older Bimmers running around is that there is no salt, and thus minimal rust.

Good to hear that you are in town. I purchased my 135i from Weatherford BMW, i got $2000 of MSRP without any problems. Maybe it's because i told them Concord BMW was giving me $2000 off. East Bay was only going to give me $750off. Maybe i should have drove to Concord, but gas would have cost me $10 there and back. Oh well...
Yes many older BMWs out here...i have a 1974 2oo2 that i drive every once in awhile.

I got a good price from Weatherford. The buying experience has been positive so far. Just need to get pass the financials once my car arrives and I can give them a solid review.

So SF_135i who did you deal with over at Weatherford. MY CA was Jennifer Bishop and Roberto Roy. My 135i should arrive at the dealership by the end of this week. What about yours.
