Rhino Ramps FTW. I've yet to find a decent spot to put jackstands up front. I would not think of putting the thing up against the lower control arms, and there is little else that is uncovered.

I have some rhino ramps that I quit using on my E36 because they wouldn't stop sliding from under the car when I was trying to drive up them.

If you have a jack that goes lower enough, beneath the engine is the front suspension sub-frame that has a jack point:
From there you can then place jack stands under the normal jack points.

My solution to that has always been driving my car up on blocks of wood sitting on the ground. This enables me to fit a jack under the car.
