Black 135 w/ tinted tail lights...

I was playing around in Photoshop w/ the press photos of the 135i, and i tried doing a black 135i w/ blacked-out tail-lights....check it out! Looks pretty sweet if you ask me. Too bad i have my heart set on alpine white...

If anyone has actually done this, please post some pics, i'd love to see if for real!

yeah, you can kinda see the LED thought this one, not sure if they are turned on in this photo, or if its just the sun shining through.

we need to see it on black... if the process is easily reversible (seems to be a spray on tint) then i might be willing to take the plunge

looks best on the sgm. on the white its too much of a contrast and on the black it looks like there's not enough.

It depends on the paint prep. If you do a good job getting the surface ready for the spray on, you shouldn't have any issues. I tinted the tail lights on my last car and it lasted more than a year without a single blemish. I sold the car so I don't know how it's holding up now (another year later).

Also for those who don't like blacked out lights, you can still tint without blacking them out. It all depends on how many coats you do.
