1-Series in Maine
I was wondering how many 1-series owners there are in Maine. I know Katahdin is out there, but I haven't heard of any others. It looks like sightings of fellow 1-ers will be few and far between. I will be driving on the Kangamagus highway on Monday. That should be a blast in this car.

I still haven't seen another 1-series on the road. My dad spotted a red convertible in the Bangor area, so there my be another one up there.

It looks like just the three of us for now. I'm certain there are a few others who are not 1addicts as well, but still a rare sighting. I have yet to see another one other than at the dealership.

My 1er was in New York on Monday July 14th. Hoping it gets to the dealer. Would love to have it for the weekend. In any case you'll see a triple black 135 terrrorizing southern Maine soon.

Welcome to the neighborhood. I still haven't seen another 1 on the road yet, so I'll be on the lookout for you. I'm in Scarborough so you can't be too far away. So far there are 4 of us running around this part of the country. That black is going to look mean - and it packs the punch to back it up. Have fun!

This is my first BMW so I'm new to everything about them. I absolutely love the smooth ride. The power is insane, and the onboard computer has way too much information. LOL. I'm finding the clutch a little strange. No resistance from it and the engine is very quiet from inside the car. A few stalls but I'm starting to get used to it now. I live in Auburn so I'm only about 30 minutes from Portland.

We finally see another Mainiac. Welcome on board. You're only about the 4th in Maine that I've seen on this forum. In fact I have only seen one other 1 series over the summer by Reid State Park. I'll be on the lookout for you. I love your color scheme, I almost switched to that when I was ordering. In fact, if I had seen one in person with that color back in March I probably would have gone that way. It was hard to tell what the colors looked like in the limited early pictures at that time. Have fun - I'm still smiling after 8 months!
