Too ricey imho, unless you paint it and are really into weight savings.

I would TOTALLY rock a CF hood on my car; however it would be painted to match the car. The weight-savings that this piece would provide would be insane.

I agree. With the weight savings in front, it would help make the car more 50/50 weight wise.

We are going to have (3) different styles available. All i can tell you right now, is that (1) of them will be OEM style. Use your imagination of the other (2).

Hint: styles are available in our 135i's bigger brother and sister...

Just an idea, if you are making CF hood, please make it so the hood covers the head lamp a little more to give it a sharper look. I am not an artist but there are clever ways to style headlamp. This will be great especially those who were considering eyelids.

When we design an OEM style hood, we make them exactly the same size as an OEM hood would be. No larger and no smaller. I apologize, but that's just the way he have to do it. Even with our other style hoods, the diameter is the same size as OEM. Most of the time, people do not realize you just can't bolt the hood on and go. They do need to be adjusted.

I'm sure we could, but it's not OEM. We have (3) types of hood that have been designed. (1) of those is OEM. The other (2) are not, but they are much different. What you have there isn't worth me spending the money and time for 1 or 2 hoods. I'd be more then happy to have it done for those few that would like. After you heard the price of tooling and molds, i think those eye brows would sound and look much, much better.
