Hey guys, we're having a BBQ meet at Bear Mountain on Sunday, June 22. If you guys are interested, you are more than welcome to join us. We've also included e46fanatics and a few other makes and models too.

Btw, some of us will be meeting up at the McDonald's rest area on the GSP North right after Exit 139 and before the tolls. Then we will roll to Garden State Plaza together to meet up with everyone else and take a nice cruise to Bear Mountain. No need to bring anything, this meet is sponsored by Park Ave. BMW.

If your car is intransit already, you should have it by the meet, if I remember correctly. It only takes about 7 days to get here and then maybe 2-3 days at the VPC and then off to the dealer it goes.

Enjoy, I'll catch the next one for sure. Just picked up my 1 yesterday after waiting for what seemed like forever. I will be going on my honeymoon on 6/22 so I am out.

I guess this throws a wrench in my BBQ and Drive planning from Harriman to Hawk's next one week after. Can't compete with "no need to bring anything". :smile:

Are you serious? You're not going just because Park Ave. BMW is sponsoring this? It's not like they're going to be there. They are just paying for it. Plus, Sal (AutoCouture) on e90post works as a CA for Park Ave. BMW now. I'm sure if you had him as a CA, you would not have had a problem.

You should definitely go, it's going to be a lot of fun. I know, because the last Bear Mountain BBQ we had last year was a blast. The drive was awesome and so were the cars and people. JMK sponsored the one last year.

Yeah, sorry out of principle, as a customer I don't like being insulted prior to purchase when the car I show up in is a non-BMW and the salespeople are ignorant. Maybe they treat people who buy BMWs rolling up in BMWs better. I believe that CA said "nissan/lexus/toyota truck, whatever not a BMW, its in the way.." (I had inadvertantly blocked their "delivery area" because they were out of parking spaces). It only takes one person representing a business to give a potential customer and subsequently his friends and family a real sour taste about them.

Nope, we're just going to meet up at one location and drive to the destination together.

We did this last year and it was very successful! 50+ Bimmers caravaning to Bear Mountain together!
