Influx of 1ers in seattle area

Just this weekend alone I saw 3 1ers in the greater seattle area. All 3 were brand new no plates yet. I saw clean looking blue 1er near lynnwood/mukilteo , a blk one in seattle and I saw a silver one in tacoma. I saw them and they saw me. opened the sun roof and stuck my index finger out to show my respect. We all had big smiles. So if your in the seattle area and you see another 1er stick your index finger out of the sun roof and say hello. : )

Good to show respect to each others as the 1ers. So far I only happen to see one 1ers, it's a black one and I saw that before mine arrive.

The index-finger idea is a great one, won't work very often within my semi-rural environ, my dealer reports other than my 135, but 4 more have been sold. :iono:You guys are lucky, sort-of.

Edit; 11/24/08, dealer reports a dozen are now 'in the wild' here in the Rogue Valley.

I have only seen one 1 so far, and that was a 128 vert....

well hope to see you guys around, I heard the weather in the greater seattle area is suppose to be really really nice, so I will be out and about breaking in the sstt. Have to admit seattle area summer has been horrible im going to be happy just to see the sun. I have had my car for 3 months and just barely broke 2k. I dont drive it in the rain : (

Well whereever you heard it from, it's not true. The whole Seattle been raining or very cold for couple weeks now. There were few hot and nice sunny days before that but my car wasn't here yet during that time.

It's not raining at this moment, but not sunny either, very cold.

I'll be PCS'ing to Lewis. I'm still assigned to Fort Benning until this deployments over. I'm from Tacoma originally, so I'm looking forward to getting back. And we'll definately have to do a drive. I think I still remember a few windy roads.:thumbup:

Cool. I'm in the Guard at Lewis. Just got back from a deployment and waiting for my 1er to arrive. Also from the local area and living in DuPont.

Sweet! Glad to hear you made it back in one piece, too. I'll be living in Puyallup once I get back. I moved my wife and kids back before I deployed, and she found a nice house there close to family. Although, at $4+ gallon, I might be moving on post before too long!

Aww after work spotted a nice new 135i mont blue convert on i-5 southbound near lynnwood. The car was clean and the driver was an older chap 50-60 smiling with the top down soaking it in cruisin in the slow lane. I opened the sun roof and have him thumbs up and he proceeded on my way.
