Mr. Clean Autodry System
I'm sure I'll be flamed on this, but I really like the Mr. Clean system. Anyone else besides me use it? The spot free works like a charm.

Ive never used it but it seems like it restricts the pressure too much.
I have a water softener for the house and I just use that water and rarely have to towel dry my cars. Even then its just blotting on some spots with the towel. Haven't washed the 1er yet, looks like Friday will be the day |

Or you can use the "Lazy Bastards drying method"
Remove the blower from your shop vac, and act like a stylist and "blow Dry" your car. (This really works well) If it's waxed up well, you wont even need to towel dry it,..but if theres any water left on it,.. Then hit it quick w/ a waffle weave microfiber towel & BAM! drying is done in minutes.

I like it too actually, but I only use it for the final rinse, then a California Water Blade to get most of the water off. I saw no difference in drying when using my regual carwash soap, which is good since I didn't like the soap that came with it.

Also a +1, I use it only for the spotless rinse. I use Zaino wash for the actual washing.

An air-hose also works quite well.

Another way to get the heavy amount of water off:
When you are done rinsing the soap off the car, use the hose without any attachments on it and rinse the car again. Most of the heavy water will just sheet off the car. Then you will be left with much less to dry by hand. This works best if the car has a nice coat of wax on it. |
