Autocross vid from yesterday

In light of me posting one of my best run from last month's event, I bring you my worst run from yesterday's event:

I did manage to snag first in class again, and had a blast.

Apologies in advance for the wind noise. We are required to have windows open, and I didn't remember to tape the microphone.

I remember reading a book on auto-xing that said, "pull the fuse for the windshield wipers." ; -)

Nice vid!

Awesome vid! I just did my first autocross a couple weeks ago and had a blast! But I can't remember anyone teaching me the wiper technique:wink:

What you couldn't see is that my hands slipped, I nailed 3 cones, and hit the windshield washer in the middle of that, but if you have the sound on, I'm laughing my butt off there.

Larry, what was your wheel/tire setup, OE? Your car sure seems to like the 1.6 deg. negative camber and the H&R springs control roll pretty darn well. Makes for fast transitions.

Those were stock runflats on the stock wheels. 39psi up front, 36psi rear.

There were a few slalom sections where I was bouncing off the rev limiter in 2nd (~70mph), and was still able to zip in and out pretty well.

Nice!

You really should quit winning though, they are going to bump us up in classing before you know it. Sandbag a bit bud

What are you using for a camera mount?

Lol about winning. We are fortunate to have a bunch of SCCA national champs that run at our events, so we have very high caliber drivers.

As for the mount, from this thread.
