Autocross vid from yesterday
In light of me posting one of my best run from last month's event, I bring you my worst run from yesterday's event:
I did manage to snag first in class again, and had a blast. Apologies in advance for the wind noise. We are required to have windows open, and I didn't remember to tape the microphone. |

Awesome vid! I just did my first autocross a couple weeks ago and had a blast! But I can't remember anyone teaching me the wiper technique:wink:

What you couldn't see is that my hands slipped, I nailed 3 cones, and hit the windshield washer in the middle of that, but if you have the sound on, I'm laughing my butt off there.

Larry, what was your wheel/tire setup, OE? Your car sure seems to like the 1.6 deg. negative camber and the H&R springs control roll pretty darn well. Makes for fast transitions.

There were a few slalom sections where I was bouncing off the rev limiter in 2nd (~70mph), and was still able to zip in and out pretty well. |

Nice!
You really should quit winning though, they are going to bump us up in classing before you know it. Sandbag a bit bud  What are you using for a camera mount? |

Lol about winning. We are fortunate to have a bunch of SCCA national champs that run at our events, so we have very high caliber drivers.
As for the mount, from this thread. |
