Satellite Radio Issue
Hello and good evening!
My 135i has the satellite radio upgrade (what i mean is i paid $500 bucks for something; not sure what...) Is Sirius the only provider available or can i use my existing XM membership? Anyone know the answer....anyone???? hello???? P.S. I love my new car--holy-crap... |

No, antennas and radio units are service specific. THey don't only make their money from subscriptions...
You can merge over your XM service to one of your buddies as a nice gift though Sooner or later Clear Channel will give up and the merger will allow us to have the best of both worlds |

Yeah, you got one or the other until the merger goes through and I'm gonna guess it'll take a while after for them to offer the other channels to those with XM or Sirius-specific systems (if that even happens.) They might say f-it and just come out with new ones. That would suck.
I've had subscriptions to both. I thought XM was better for me being into dance/electronic music at least. How does the sat. radio sound in the 1 compared to your other sources? |
