Any deals on oil for the 1er, Vancouver?

I am planning to do an oil change on the 1er but found out that Brian Jessel wants $9.72 a bottle and $19.80 for a filter. Is this a reasonable price?

You can order the kit for $70 on this site - drive down to UPS Customer pickup in Bellingham for free shipping.

Otherwise - CDN Tire has Castrol Syntec on sale from time to time for $36 for 4.4 litres.

Officially: BMW recommends Castrol. It's in the owners manual.

Any good synthetic, castrol, mobil 1... the actual differences between most oils isn't all that substantial.

The filter where you need to pay attention to (although many oils can go 20,000 KM between changes, almost all filters need to be changed every 5,000 to 10,000 KM)
