Yah as parts, but you will probably pay $3-4k for the 2 seats.

It would be cheaper to buy the sport package and get a set of non-staggered wheels.

Since they're not DOT approved (no airbags), I doubt we'll see the performance seats in the US.

Just get the sport package. Its only $1,000. You get the sport seats, thicker steering wheel, black leather M shift knob, awesome black exterior shadowline trim, and the higher top speed. The seats are worth $1,000, the steering wheel is worth $500, etc. etc.

The performance seats will never be available in the US from a BMW dealership. BMW NA will not even allow us to order them.

The whole sports pack is great but I dont like the shadowline trim and I know I'm going to swap the suspension and wheels so practically I just want the seats......

Sport package is only $1,000 which is cheaper than buying 2 sport seats separately.

Spend the 1K dollars on the sports pkg, then sell the wheels, and suspension to help raise money for your mods - someone who didn't get the sports package might want the stuff, plus you'll save money on your hunt for sport seats.

i know what you mean by not wanting the other stuff since they will be replaced anyways . .

but you definitely cannot argue with price . .

getting the sport seats separately will cost more than the sports pkg . . so why not just get the sports pkg and then sell out the rest of the stuff that you do not want . .

this way you will get the sport seats + a little extra money to purchase your other mods!

its a win-win!! do it!~

I thought they did have the side airbags.

(But not disputing the fact that BMWNA won't import them).

I would like just the sport seats, I have everything else retro fitted except for the seats. I can't believe they would be 5k, the car only costs 45k, two seats 1/8 of the value of the car, I can't believe it, they should sell for 1k each at most. anyone have the official price on these? and if we can get them at all.

You have to get the sport package. It's a no brainer. The shadowline trim will grow on you. The steering wheel is also nice. You will pay way more than the $1,000 for the seats alone. And you won't get much for the non sport seats, as they are not popular. They don't have the tilt adjustment, and lack lateral support.
