Audio System Problem

Has anyone else had this problem yet?

When I lock my car, the stereo stays on!

No, when you lock the car it shuts off. I do have a problem with the stereo going mute for two brief moments when I start the car.

I believe that this is a setting that the dealer (and you?) can fix-I guess that some people want the sterio to stay on for someone in the car or some strange reason? In our 335xi it turns off after 40 seconds I think-haven't bothered to try to change it yet. Check the owners manual?

I am sure it is defective. At random times, the stereo also produces decoding error sounds. I'm bringing it to the dealer tomorrow.
