Wow, that's slow. A stock car could do that. Poor Dinan owner :-( $2000 down the drain.

A bad driver doesn't create a 7+ mph difference in trapspeed under the same conditons unless they miss multiple shifts. Given the car was trapping at 105 all night long, I don't think that was the case. It seems to me that under these conditions the Dinan car was down at LEAST 50hp, comparitively.

How is this a flame war? Because people are talking bad about Dinan. There is no flame war here. When did you become a mod?

procede is a programable piggyback ECU. when you can go to the local dyno shop and get a protune its always going to be better than an off the shelf tune because the off the shelf tune has to provide a large ammount of redundant safty while with a protune you can find that point of detonation, dial it back a notch and run the car at its max potental. having a good deal of experiance with programable ecu's I can say that it is deffinatly supirior in power gains but you need to get it tuned properly in order to maintain safty

Trap speed is a valid way to compare the effective power of two cars, same night, same track. ET is more dependant on driver skill, but it's harder to REALLY screw up a trap speed. Take it with a 1 or 2mph grain of salt, and it can certainly be used to see if there's a significant difference in the power available.
Trojan, I don't think there's been any flaming that I've seen? Seems to be staying pretty impersonal.

So, now people are wondering if Dinan's #'s are crap? I know the Procede cars are fast--I have seen one.
