I stumbled upon the idea for this poll/thread while replying to one.

How fast have you personally operated a motor vehicle?

This is not limited to how fast you have taken you 1er; however you can state that also. Any vehicle applies.

My personal top speed is 185 on my Kawasaki Ninja on a stretch of desert freeway in Arizona. I have taken my 135i up to 145mph on an open stretch.

*Disclaimer* Please do not ruin this poll by talking about how unsafe, retarded, immature, etc etc it is to travel at any speed above the posted limit.

145 mph in my M3 on a late night (little to no traffic) motorway. I don't think I will be trying for a top speed in my 1er anytime soon.

I took my Dads old S500 up to 135, it was still pulling but I had to slow down due to traffic.

took my dads cls55 amg on a long straight road. Hit 159. It was like a time machine.

4 wheels = 211mph (timing light verified)
2 wheels = 178mph (state trooper lidar verified)

Water:
PWC= 82.4 mph
Boat= 174 mph (GPS)

All speeds were with me at the controls.

135 in my Integra long ago when I was reckless lol... j/k it was on a Sunday in I think VT long stretch of highway very minimal cars 3 lanes
I want to see how fast the car could go and it topped at 140 on the speedo so prob around 135, I generally dont go over 100 anymore

I say '+' because I wasn't spending a tremendous amount of time looking at the speedometer, but looking at the rapidly approaching road in front of me...
