found this and thought it was pretty cool.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126863 wonder if it would fit the 135? |

I am also interested in this pod. I have already pm'd him, he says he's gotta get his hands on a 1er to get dimensions for a perfect fit.
Maybe if we can get enough interest, we can get this moving quicker. Group buy maybe? |

can somebody get me some detailed pics of where the a-pilar meets the dashboard? pics from all angles, including from outside the car
That would speed things up... Thanks! -Rick |

*sigh* my camera took a nice...long...and destructive fall down the stairs. Gotta go to Costco and buy another soon. I can guarantee that ill get them up for you but I do not know when I can make it to Costco. Can someone else pitch in here to help in the meantime? Also, Rixst3r can you possibly show a DIY on how to connect the vacuum hose and where you plugged in your power/ground? I have installed several gauges before but none on a BMW and I do not think it wise to go poking around wires in that general area. Thank You for all your dedication and hard work! |

Thanks guys... I will be posting a DIY for the 335 boost gauge kit in about 2 weeks, most everything will apply
When I finish the 135 version, it will come with install instructions as well as have its own DIY. -Rick |

I say go for a Defi boost gauge, they have memory in them so you can review the data.

this is WAY below the airbag, this pod sits on the dash... its not an a-pilar pod... its a dash pod. Don't beleive me? pull off your a-pilar cover and see... its a good foot above where my pod is located... |

I've seen cars with deployed HPS airbags. I wouldn't want anything near the a-pillar when it goes off.
