The rear left passenger seat on my 2024 X5 40I chirps like a cricket. I've narrowed it down to the latch, but I am not sure how to fix it. I tried a little bit of grease and that did not help. For the time being I put the seat up with a cloth wedged in the side to keep it from doing any slight movements. No more chirping. Rob |

Both of my front seats creak when leaning slightly back and to the side of the shoulder area. As I’m sure you can guess, the dealer determined this was “normal,” which is code for they don’t want to deal with it.

My LCI had a creak when using the massage feature.
BMW opened up the seatback and did something, but so far, it's been gone. Now, as for the sunroof creaking/tapping/rattling, that's another story. |

I think my lci sunroof / skylounge creaks too. I dunno what it is. I’ve prodded and poke at it. It seems all solid enough. Very odd.

Sometimes it creaks, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it rattles, sometimes it doesn't. It's very annoying to set an appointment with BMW because one thing is for certain: it will not do any of those things when I'm trying to show a technician, and my time = $$$. |

My front passenger seat creaks. It seems to be the plastic on the side of the seat that will creak if there's a passenger in the seat and I go around a corner where their weight shifts slightly toward their door.

Thanks for the 3M felt tape idea. I put some in between the seat and the plastic trim and it seems to have done the trick.
