Any 135i owners already itching to tune?

I swore I wouldn't until the suspension was in order, but it exceeded my expectations so far, and now I find myself dreaming about getting one of the tuning options already.

With about 20 of us already taking delivery (and more every day it seems!), how many of you are looking at various sites to buy one. I've had one in my e-shopping cart, more than once...

Yes, tempted to get the SSTT and put it on ASAP. I just don't want to be the guinea pig.

I am itching for it. I am also waiting to see what comes around when the car gets more popular. I think I will get used to driving the car before i put mods on it.

I told myself I was gonna wait at least a year before I did any tuning, but I have a feeling that I won't even make it six months. Speed is so addicting!

Scratch, scratch, scratch, ahhhh what a relief. If you guys think the car is fun now add an Active Processor and then you will see what fun really is. The itch was too much and I had to put it in day 2.

What are you impressions of the Active Processor?

I have owned many high HP cars. The 135i with the Active Processor is one of the quickest cars I have ever driven. Imagine how your car runs now except every gear now feels like the one before it. Third gear pulls like 2nd gear if not harder. So far I am very happy with this tune. Going on almost a week with no problems, no limp modes, nothing. The car drives like stock but just pulls so damn hard. Tomorrow morning I am scheduled to get their intercooler installed. Lets see how the little monster performs then. We are expecting a cold front here tomorrow night so I can only imagine. Good times ahead!!! Be safe out there guys.

Have you had a baseline, then a AP dyno yet? (I think I remember you did) I am interested to see what the upgraded intercooler does.

Unfortunately no dynos. AA was about to close when i got the AP installed. Also I am trying to not push the car past 4500 rpms in a half-assed attempt to stick to some sort of a break in period. It's crazy because just as the car feels its about to take off flying I have to let off the gas. Talk about an exercise in restraint. I dont think the intercooler will make that much power as its designed to keep the heat down and let you keep the power you have. I have noticed the car does not pull as hard after some spirited driving. This is what the AA FMIC is supposed to fix. Stay tuned!!!

I am picking my car up 5 minutes from Helix's shop! LOL I am going down there to say hello to everyone there and tell them my plans for the car, and see if they can help. Im sure they can. I am going to be good though and not let them touch it the first day.

I'm still enjoying it -- when driving it starts to feel same-old, same-old, then I'm going to see what's out there. I'm actually pleased with the exhaust note, so again, wait until I get used to it...
