I will most certainly be getting a tracker, but not the BMW one. The annual charge was rather steep. When my wife got her 3er, she got a life time membership option on the "TRACKER" that cost the same as the annual fee for the BMW one.

Even my sales rep agreed that it wa a bit steep :-)

So after market here I come!!

I thought this was standard with BMW assist? Can't they tell where your car is?

I have been to www.tracker.co.uk website - but they have lifted their prices too!! Looks like ~£600-800 for a life time tracker. That is about the same an BMW!!!

Gosh , it used to be sooo much cheaper!!

I wouldn't want my stolen car back. That's why I'd never install a tracker.
