Where do you live?
Just wondering what states we Aussie 1ers are scattered in.

Sorry larryn, this is our revenge for being the 'others' too many times in your northern hemisphere polls. ;-)

There won't be many 135i owners down here. Only 2 cars making it to the apple isle in the 1st year! One of them has my name on it.

Sydney, but I wont be buying 1 for a while. Would love to though. Just came back from the Melbourne motorshow, and it definitely looks better in the flesh.
Wish I could put and order in straight away and tell them to hold it indefinitely lol |

How about the transient type that live between states...
I run a "restaurant" in Mount Gambier, South Australia and live between there, Port Fairy and Geelong right now... Between Mount Gambier and Port Fairy, there is nothing but national parks and pine plantations... perfect habitat for the native kangaroos who like to wander across the road in front of fast moving vehicles... |

And I am from the very busy state of WA where everyone is awash with dosh. The local BMW dealer is the busiest in Australia I would imagine and consequently doesn't give anything away. Not information, not discounts, not replies...nothing. I am left thinking that I am indeed priviliged to have a 135i on order (and have for 10 months now). I sometimes fear that if I am a naughty boy they won't let me have it so I gotta be good! May 19th I've been told but won't believe it until I see it. It's been like dealing with ASIO so far.

Maaate...welcome. 10 months! I was told I ordered the first 135i and that was about a month ago! Mine's due July. I believe the launch is in May.
I don't know if you've owned a BMW before and had it serviced here but I just got whacked $1300 for front pads and disks and rear pads on my X5. BTW - 50,000km service plus the pads and disks.....$1,970 - Thanks for coming, next! I think competition is needed. |

26 of us so far. That's 1/8 of the 1st years allocation already!

Yes, we're only getting 200 1ers in the first year, made up of 125s and 135s. So there may be only 100 of each model. Get in quick or you'll miss out!
One thing for sure, it'll be a rare car in Aus for a while.

I'm in Perth, as per my other "Hello" thread. Not bought yet, but am about to pull trigger this coming week on a 135. Hope there are some left!
