Placed my 135 order

I put my money down on a 135 coupe Thursday (happy Valentines day to me!). I decided on the Jet black, black Boston leather with Aluminum trim. I got the M package and the Premium package. My delivery date is in April. Now the waiting begins!

Congrats, welcome the greater NW area ownership circle. Canadian or not. I plan to drive mine in BC plenty!

Brian Jessel. So far I have found them very nice to deal with. My Father has bought two cars from them and he has always been happy with them.

Have any of the members who ordered the "1" done so without having seen it in person first? Or did most of the members who ordered it test drive it first?

I ordered without seeing or driving. It kind of adds to the excitement to tell the truth.

I had an extended drive in a friends 335i Coupe that put me in love with the engine and the dynamics but the Cabrio version just seemed to big to me. When the 1 Cabrio was announced it seemed like a match made in heaven and from almost everything I have read, it is.

I drove the 335i and loved it. I assume that the "1" will be a similar ride, but in a smaller car - which I love. But, I cannot bring myself to ever buy a car I haven't driven. As soon as my local dealer gets one, I will drive it and immediately order it if I love it as much as the 335i. The only way I will choose the 335i over the "1" will be if there is something about driving it that I don't like. I am confident that I will love it - I have become obsessed with this car as many of you have become as well....

I bought without driving the 135 which is something I figured I would never do. I took two long test drives in the 335 coupe and figured the 135 will be similar. I found the motor to be just incredible and that was the biggest selling point for me. I also talked to a BMW salesman that had been to a BMW track day and drove a US spec 135. He gave it rave reviews and he said it felt lighter and tighter then a 335.

I think its fair to put your trust in BMW, they will deliver on the 1. Reviews have been pretty favourable too.
