I'm sure it's probably easy to figure out, but does anyone have instructions to remove and replace the engine air intake filter?

I believe someone on the general X5 forum with a M50i did one so I suggest you look there.

Its essentially just 5-6 bolts and loosening the hose clamp per side. Everything is easily accessible and should be a 15min job.
