I was at the Detroit auto show and the doors were open so you can sit inside however usually Toronto's show doesn't usually open their doors on their cars.. thou ill still be going to that one.. just incase they have the 135i in black..

The BMW Experience center in Whitby has several 1ers in their fenced in back lot. I'm pretty sure that if you're seriously contemplating getting one, the client advisor will take you back there to have a look at them close up and personal (as he did with me)..
OTOH, they won't let you in the car.
BTW, it is my understanding that the 1ers (coupe & Cabrio) at the the Toronto Auto Show will be open and you will get a chance to sit in it (as long as you promise not to drool on the seats)...

The car is entry level so you can guarantee it will be open for the public to sit in. I sat in it at the bmw university and it is really roomy.
